Introduction

This brush is made for koi breeding, pond fish spawning, and water filtration. This product is commonly known as a Koi Spawning Brush, Fish Spawning Brush, Filter Brush, or Pond Filter Brush, and is widely used in fish ponds, koi farms, and aquaculture systems.

This brush is made from two strong wires twisted together with soft bristles fixed firmly in between. The twisted wire core is manufactured from 304 stainless steel, which is essential for long-term use in wet and underwater environments. It offers excellent corrosion resistance and structural strength. The bristles are made of soft nylon, carefully selected to ensure they do not damage delicate fish eggs while still being effective at collecting impurities and suspended particles from the water.

Application

Pond fish, especially koi, usually breed from April to August. During the spawning season, spawning brushes should be placed underwater one by one, with a recommended spacing of about 10 cm between each brush. This arrangement provides enough space for fish to spawn comfortably.

Spawning typically occurs in the early morning hours. After spawning is completed, it is recommended to remove the brushes promptly to prevent fish eggs from being eaten by other fish. The brushes with attached eggs should then be kept in water at the same temperature as the original pond for 3–6 days, allowing the eggs to develop and hatch safely.
