China Inverted and External Spiral Coil Brush Manufacturer
This brush product, also referred to as a Spiral Brush, Coil Brush, or Formed Strip Brush, is an industrial brush manufactured by forming a strip brush into a continuous spiral coil. By controlling the spiral pitch or using zero pitch, the brush achieves extremely high filament density and uniform contact, making it ideal for precision cleaning, deburring, polishing, and surface finishing applications.
This brush consists of metal backing—typically galvanized steel or stainless steel—and a wide range of filament materials to meet different working conditions. Depending on the direction of the bristle orientation, the brush can be produced as an Inside (Inverted) Spiral Brush, with filaments pointing inward, or an External Spiral Brush, with filaments pointing outward. Each configuration serves different industrial purposes while maintaining consistent and reliable brushing performance.

- Inverted or External Filament Orientation
Inside spiral brushes are designed for processing rods, shafts, wires, and tubes, while external spiral brushes function similarly to high-density roller brushes for surface treatment.
- Custom Spiral Pitch
Spiral pitch can be precisely controlled from 0 mm (closed coil) up to 310 mm, allowing optimization for contact pressure, cleaning intensity, and material handling.
- Left-Hand or Right-Hand Winding
Available in both winding directions to match machine rotation and installation requirements.
- Custom Inner and Outer Diameters
The inside diameter and outside diameter can be manufactured to exact specifications for seamless integration with your equipment.
- Optional Shaft Assembly
Spiral coil brushes can be supplied loose or fully assembled on a shaft, reducing installation time and improving operational efficiency.
- Wide Filament Material Selection
Nylon, polypropylene, steel wire, stainless steel wire, animal hair, and tampico fiber are available to suit different surfaces and operating environments.

The application of the Inverted and External Spiral Coil Brush depends on the filament direction:
- Inside (Inverted) Spiral Brush
Used for internal cleaning, polishing, deburring, and surface finishing of rods, shafts, wires, and cylindrical components.
- External Spiral Brush
Functions as a high-density roller brush for cleaning, dust removal, surface treatment, and material handling in continuous production lines.
This type of Spiral Brush is widely used in metal processing, wire drawing, tube manufacturing, surface finishing, and automated industrial cleaning systems where consistent contact and durability are critical.

- Are you a factory or a trading company?
A: We are a manufacturer, not a middleman. Our factory is located in Huzhou, Zhejiang Province, China, and customers are always welcome to visit us.
- Is this product customizable?
A: Yes. We support full customization. Both the dimensions and materials (including bristle material and wire type) can be customized.
- How can the cleaning performance of this brush be improved?
A: Cleaning efficiency can be increased by reducing the spacing(B) between the coils. Smaller coil spacing results in higher bristle density, which enhances the cleaning effect.

- How is this product used?
A: Inverted (inside) spiral coil brush: Can be used manually or installed on equipment for internal surface cleaning.
External spiral coil brush: Usually mounted on a steel shaft and assembled into a roller brush for continuous or automated cleaning applications.
- What is your typical production lead time?
A: The standard production lead time is around 7 days, depending on customization details and order quantity.
- How is this product packaged?
A: Because the bristles are flexible and can be bent during transportation, we typically use wooden crate packaging to ensure maximum protection and maintain the brush’s original shape during shipping.
